This year, All-Clad celebrates 40 years of culinary innovation and American craftsmanship. The Company takes great pride in locally manufacturing products widely admired and sought after by top restaurant chefs and serious home cooks.
Born during the U.S. steel age in 1967, Clad Metals found its roots in a small, metallurgical company that specialized in formulating bonded metals for a variety of industries. Company founder, John Ulam, spent years perfecting his bonding process and established All-Clad Metalcrafters in 1971.
Today, from its own rolling mill in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, All-Clad is the only bonded cookware manufacturer to use American craftsmen and American-made metals to produce a complete line of superior bonded cookware.
