Designed to work right or left handed, the Rotary
Grater puts a new spin on an old idea. Each drum finely or coarsely
grates parmesan and other hard cheeses, chocolate, and nuts. Fine drum
grates nutmeg. Coarse drum grates soft cheese. It combines a
razor-sharp Microplane blade with the ease, safety, and portability of
a rotary grater, making the fine grating of tough ingredients easier
than ever. Includes coarse and fine blades. Dishwasher safe.
Care & Cleaning
We recommend rinsing your grater in warm water immediately after each
use. Remove particles stuck in the blade from the back side whenever
possible. To remove "stuck on food" from the front, first
soak the tool in warm water and then use a cleaning brush and stroke
in the same direction as the teeth.
Microplane graters' tiny razor-like edges are formed by a totally
different process called photo-etching in which holes are dissolved
with a chemical, leaving edges that finely slice the food instead of
tearing or shredding.
